Sustainable Local Employment and Training
Description
The community EDO is looking to complete a broadband project to employ local people in both construction and operation/maintenance of facilities and services and provide training where necessary.
Specifically details about employment and training for each employment position should include:
• Number of community members that should be employed
• Titles of each position
• Minimum and maximum duration of employment for each position
• Salary scale for each position
• Training to be offered
In addition, the CRTC’s Broadband Fund will support up to 1 year of training for technicians in remote communities.
• Will your proposal provide for training to local residents?
• Include any short-term jobs (e.g. construction) in your proposal.
• Include any ongoing jobs (e.g. local technician, administrator, marketing) in your proposal.
