Description

The community EDO need a lands and resources expert to develop a community-led land use plan that underlines community's vision, including priorities, strategies and policies for lands and resources use and infrastructure development. Specifically the land and resource expert will: • raise awareness of the importance of community land use planning through community education and outreach • train band office staff involved in technical services that support land use development and implementation • develop a Toolkit and resource material for support • identify funding support for land use planning initiatives • engage the community in the process of land use planning • collaborate with partners • preserve key cultural elements unique to the community The land and resource expert will provide services that may include: • training workshops • community site visits • advisory services • providing information and tools • identifying funding support
