About Us

A vast amount of potential exists for private sector companies to develop business opportunities in collaboration with our member communities. However, there can be serious barriers to engaging with our communities, including a lack of cultural understanding and sensitivity on the part of industry, which can reinforce community distrust of non-Indigenous people. Thunder Eagle Tribal Council represents a vital conduit for companies looking to engage with our member communities. With one foot in the community and the other in the business world, Thunder Eagle Tribal Council is well-placed to serve as a bridge for private industry to gain access to investment opportunities and member community EDOs and buy-in to development plans. Moreover, Thunder Eagle Tribal Council is structured explicitly to engage with the corporate sector in a transparent and accountable manner. In return, our member communities’ benefit from knowledge transfer and skills building through a relationship with more experienced partners.
